Introduction/Description

Welcome! We're thrilled you're interested in volunteering or fostering with Best Friends Animal Society - Utah. As a leader in animal welfare, Best Friends is quite active throughout the state working to Save Them All™.

A few things to note:

All volunteers must be at least 6 years old. Youth volunteers must volunteer alongside a parent or guardian at all times. Some opportunities may have stricter age requirements. Both the youth volunteer and parent must have profiles and both must be registered for each shift.
There is an additional form for youth volunteers, so if you are creating an account for someone under 18, please refer to the under 18 entry point.
We accept court-ordered community service volunteers depending on the charges. Trainings and classes do not count towards your hours and you must contact the volunteer coordinator (utahvolunteer@bestfriends.org) prior to signing up to make sure your service will be able to be approved.
