We’re this close – Utah is now on the verge of becoming No Kill – but only if we pull together right now. You can help by fostering a kitten or adult cat.
Why fostering is important
By opening your home to an animal in need, we're able to go rescue another at-risk animal from the city shelter. We have a fixed kennel capacity at our center so the only way we can save these animals is with the help of foster homes!
How it works
We've tailored our foster program to make it as easy as possible, give you the support you need, and work with you to find the best match possible for your home and lifestyle. Discover how incredibly fulfilling and fun it can be to foster a pet!
As a foster you provide the space and time to care for the pet. We’ll give you all food, supplies and medical support the animal will need while in your care.
Our team will help pair you with an animal that best matches your abilities and home environment. We’ll also take into consideration if you have other pets in the home and if you have the capacity to keep animals separate.
Note
If you need service hours to satisfy court-ordered community service, please apply to the Volunteer position. Foster hours do not count toward your time.
